On September 12, 2014, I transformed my creative focus from graphic design to portrait as well as fine art photography. I am based in Athens and Atlanta, Georgia area, and available to travel. My background has always been in the visual arts and I have degrees from The Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), New York University, and University of the Arts. I am a wife and a proud step-mom to a beautiful dancer daughter. I am a spunky, creative, introverted-extrovert!

Artist Statement
I have been intrigued by the photographic process for as long as I can remember. I have always been involved in the visual arts and have been a graphic designer for over two decades. During 2011, I started using various photography applications on the iPhone. Eventually, I began shooting with a digital camera and editing my images on my laptop with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
My work is guided by design principles which include specific themes as well as color, texture, composition, and most importantly: light. I aspire to make my own symbolic interpretation of the world around me. I am presenting photographic explorations of ocean waves, macro flowers, and glimpses into the natural world. The prints shown are a part of intuitive moments I want to share.
