Allison Ward is a Georgia-based artist, illustrator, and founder of Homeward Studio, located in Athens, Georgia. Known for her hyperrealistic and emotionally resonant artwork, Allison captures the delicate beauty of plants, architecture, and everyday moments through a variety of mediums, including watercolor, acrylic, and digital illustration. Her work invites viewers to slow down and appreciate the often-overlooked details of the world around them.
A native of Georgia, Allison’s passion for art began in childhood, where she found joy in drawing and creating. She pursued her undergraduate studies at Berry College, refining her artistic techniques through a diverse range of art courses. Over the years, she has filled more than 30 sketchbooks, documenting her journey and growth as an artist.
In addition to her artistic endeavors, Allison is a mother to two grown children, Maggie and Taylor. Throughout their upbringing, she lovingly chronicled their lives through scrapbooking and sketching, further fueling her creative expression.
Allison founded Homeward Studio as a space to share her art and connect with others.
