Ashley Perry-Cook was born, raised and lived her entire life in Georgia. She is currently residing in Winterville, Georgia just outside of a super art-friendly and cultural town Athens, Georgia. She is a 49-year-old mother of one adult son with four canine companions. Her main medium is painting with alcohol ink and occasionally some oil and acrylic painting. While she was heavily involved in art classes throughout high school, after several traumatic events in her life occurring at one time, she began to reconnect with her artistic abilities and is an emerging and self-taught amateur artist. Her work is heavily influenced by her emotional state, past trauma, music and using those things to weave emotion, trauma and music (on social media) into her art. She is quickly becoming known in North Geogia galleries, a virtual gallery, social media and other locales in Athens for her abstract art, use of color and flow style of work.
