Originally from Jacksonville Florida, I moved to Atlanta in 1984 where in high school I discovered my love for photography. I then went on to study at the Lamar Dodd School of Art at University of Georgia.
Out of college I began working as custom darkroom printer and photo consultant for Michael Stipe of R.E.M. for 8 years. Then in 2000 I took the leap and opened my own full time studio, shooting commercial work and editorial work for publications all over the southeast.
Now 25 years later, Athens is still my home and I enjoy creating commercial work and my personal B/W portrait projects.
