Krysia (Krisha) is known for her public art mosaic projects around the Athens area, including Watkinsville, and Winterville. Krysia has spent years developing technical expertise to create engaging work that stands the test of time. She appreciates the opportunities she has had to beautify her hometown and surrounding areas. Public art projects include two dozen Project Ginkgo mosaics around downtown Athens, exterior mosaics at The Classic Center and the Lyndon House Arts Center, mosaic play sculptures in Harris Shoals Park in Watkinsville, large-scale mosaics in Cobbham Triangle Park and Dudley Park, and a variety of mosaics in the Children’s Garden at the UGA State Botanical Garden of Georgia. Recently her work has been installed in the heart of Winterville, a welcoming mosaic filled with marigolds that features the Firefly Trail.
