For the past decade, Anna Corbould has called Athens home, building a creative career that bridges theatre, film, animation, and education. A graduate of the University of Georgia, she holds both an MFA in Dramatic Media Production and a PhD in Performance Studies, where her research explored the intersection of live performance and digital media.
Anna is an active member of Athens’ performing arts community, appearing in productions with Town & Gown Players while continuing to develop film and multimedia projects. She currently works with Defiant Lens Productions, an independent film company with deep roots in Athens, producing cinematic work for nonprofits, businesses, and creative collaborators.
Passionate about mentoring the next generation of artists, Anna also teaches animation as part of the University of Georgia Summer Academy, helping young creatives develop their storytelling and digital media skills. Whether on stage, behind the camera, or in the classroom, she is committed to creating work that brings people together through compelling stories and innovative visual experiences.
