Allie Jackson works in Athens and resides in Loganville. She works predominately with oil paints, but sometimes uses watercolors and mixed media in her creations. She paints mainly landscapes, seascapes, and cityscapes. Her work has been shown in multiple galleries across Montana, and Georgia. Her painting “Dreams of Mountains in Blue” was accepted to hang in the executive offices at the Georgia Capitol as part of the “Art of Georgia” exhibit. Her painting of Watson Mill Bridge was accepted to the 2023 Art of Georgia exhibit and will also hang at the Georgia Capitol. “Automatic for the People” and “All Things Hidden” were shown at the “Subjective Perspective” Juried Show at Water Works Art Museum, Montana; “Automatic for the People” was selected for the 2020 Traveling Art Show” and was shown at 7 galleries and art shows across Montana during 2020. “Contemplation Aims at Nothing” was selected as part of the “Space 2020 Juried Exhibition” at ATHICA.
