Primarily a landscape painter…
…who paints what he has seen or is currently seeing. And then embellishes the scene in some way, perhaps by amping up the colors or focusing on some aspect of the scene not immediately noticed. Or just by recognizing the happy accidents and letting them shine.
I tend to shy away from already-majestic scenes and concentrate more on the everyday stuff we often overlook.
