Based in Athens, J. Dalton Cooper got his start in action sports and music, filming himself and friends kayaking waterfalls and playing concerts. This quickly collided with a rekindled love for westerns and thrillers, and an obsession was born. Writing, directing, and shooting, he offers a style that reflects the struggle between the real and the visceral, tinged with the experience of southern Appalachia and the western expanse.
