The goal of the Athens Metal Arts Guild (AMAG) is to provide education, promote public awareness and develop interest in the metal arts through activities related to metalsmithing and jewelry making.

AMAG was established in January, 2013 to meet the needs and interests of the numerous metal art professionals and hobbyists in the Athens area. AMAG meets at the Lyndon House Arts Center (LHAC), part of the Athens-Clarke County Department of Leisure Services. Meetings are held every other month, featuring speakers, sharing of ideas and opportunities among its members.
