I grew up on a small farm in Carnesville, Ga about 45 minutes from Athens. This environment nurtured my love of animals while my family nurtured my love of art. I have been creating and drawing for as long as I can remember. Fast forward a few years to 2014 when I found myself graduating from Piedmont College with a BFA in painting. I now live with my wife, two dogs and three cats and I channel my love of art and animals into my art. I love working on pet portraits and bringing the personality of any beloved pet to canvas or paper. My portraits are colorful, somewhat stylized, and expressive.
